Risks and legal notice
In short $KIN is a community reward, not an investment. Plans can change, laws differ by country, and technology and markets carry risk.
Please read this chapter carefully.
What this paper is
This whitepaper describes Kin Identity's products and plans as of the date shown below. It is for information only. It is not an offer to sell, or a request to buy, any token, security or financial product, and nothing in it is financial, legal or tax advice.
$KIN is not an investment
$KIN is a community reward for the people who build the Kin network. It is not a share in Kin Identity and gives no right to profits, dividends or any part of the company. Nobody can promise what $KIN will be worth, and it may be worth nothing.
Risks
- Plans may change. The token launch, airdrop, listings and other plans depend on legal approvals, exchanges and partners. They may be delayed, changed or cancelled.
- Regulation. Laws on digital tokens and biometric data differ between countries and are changing. Some features may not be available everywhere.
- Technology. Software, smart contracts and blockchains can have bugs or be attacked. Wallets and keys can be lost.
- Markets. If $KIN becomes tradable, its price may be volatile, and there may be little demand for it.
- Proof of human. No verification system is perfect. Some fake accounts may get through, and some real people may be wrongly stopped.
- Your responsibility. You are responsible for your own wallet, keys and taxes, and for following the laws where you live.
